So I had a weird commute in today to work. Please make me feel better.
So I'm parked in the right hand land of a 2 lane road waiting at a traffic light. Running REALLY late to work.
This is the light
So next to me is a BMW X1 series about half a car length back from the white line.
I was sitting right at the line, in my V70R
knowing that this became one lane in about 20 car lengths, and that I was running late, I was going to floor-it the moment the light turned. So I did and when the road narrowed I was about 10 car lengths ahead of the X1, and it was closing fast! With it hazards on for some reason. I assumed she needed to get by so I pulled into a turn lane I have seen people let me by in the past: so that she may pass. Nope, she just keep sucked up to my bumper, to the point that I can clearly make out her face,

So from there to work I had this crazy lady, just tailong me, when we got to route 4 a 2 lane highway she said GLUED to my bumper, taking cell phone shots of my car ( she was so close she probably couldn't make out my license plate, and flicking me off constantly.
So I get to a 4 way intersection, decided that it was time to loose this women at the red light, so I turned right made a u-turn and turn right so that I can loose this crazy lady, as I approach Suitland parkway she comes flying up has to be doing 90+ in a 50, with her flashers on and flashing her lights. In my mind now this lady is super crazy, so just do my best to not make eye contact and not change lanes and just be as inoffensive as possible. She eventually left my bumper as I turned on to be 295 east west freeway.
Super stressful and I was still late to work. Ugh good morning, so far.
I have no idea what set her off, she didn't want to drive faster then I was going, it seem to me like she was offended I wanted to faster then her, or maybe she dislikes station wagons going faster then her?

That's worse than my crazy lady story from this summer.
Lady in a busted accord waited until I was just about at an intersection to pull out in front of me, running over the curb/sidewalk in the process. She literally sat at the light watching me approach at ~40 mph for about 15 seconds before pulling out at the last second. Part of me thinks insurance scam. I quickly changed lanes, passed her and honked. She speeds up to my bumper flashing her lights, honking her horn, and screaming out her window at me. I got caught at a light and she almost rear ended me. She then got out of her car. I sped off. The whole thing only lasted a couple mins but it felt much longer.
I hope you feel better knowing you're not alone. Have an old car

I had one at the time but I didn't find out it wasn't working until after the fact. Got a new one
